You see them everywhere. Waddle-walking across sidewalks, congregating in parks, occasionally dive-bombing your picnic. Pigeons. Often dismissed as "sky rats" or mere feathered nuisances, these urban dwellers lead lives far more complex, and perhaps, far more fascinating, than we give them credit for.
For years, I've noticed a peculiar pattern in my own life. Days I wear mismatched socks tend to be… unpredictable. Sometimes wonderfully chaotic, sometimes a complete disaster involving spilled coffee and forgotten appointments. Single-colored socks, however, usually usher in a day of serene productivity. Could it be a coincidence? Or was the universe trying to tell me something, one mismatched pair at a time?
